The Best Custom Shutters, Blinds & Shades!
Proudly Serving the Fort Myers metro area

Congrats to the latest #ShareYourShutters winner: Chelsey Rushworth! Her winning submission to #ShareYourShutters features two rooms in her home decked out with stylish new Polywood interior plantation shutters that beautifully accentuate both her home’s style and her own unique fashion sense.

Neutral Living Area With Shutters

Chelsey, who goes by Taste of Coffey on Instagram, is a Boston-based home designer who definitely has a unique eye for matching colors in her decorating. Just one look at her space shows how she mixes and matches neutrals and vivid colors for a look that’s warm and calming, but extremely stylish at the same time.

Chelsey even has a few pieces of advice for designers in Fort Myers and beyond:

  • Always have a color scheme in mind. When you decorate a room, you’re always able to adjust colors to customize it. Try to use hues from either your home’s color pallet or ones that can accentuate it.

  • Be flexible in your use of colors. I use white shutters and most of my furniture includes shades of gray, both weathered wood and fabric. So I decided to add in splashes of white and color accents.

Decorated Room With Polywood Plantation Shutters

Not only does Chelsey excel at using colors in her design, but the use of space in her home is on point, too. From her chairs that lead the eyes right up to the wall and her classic shutters, to the way her shelving lines up perfectly under the window, Chelsey’s home is fashion-forward, practical, and extremely livable without ever coming close to feeling cluttered.

As our contest winner this season, Chelsey will receive a gift card to a great restaurant in Boston, in addition to having her designs featured here. To see more of her work, visit her personal site at TasteofCoffey.com.

And if you believe the shutters in your home look awesome enough to be a winner, share a photo on social media with the hashtag #ShareYourShutters. Let’s get another Fort Myers home to take next season’s prize!
